Ablauf
Der Wettbewerb besteht aus drei Teilen: Qualifikationsrunde - Halbfinalrunde - Finalrunde (inklusive Preisverleihung)
Anmeldeschluss : 18. Mai 2025
Sowohl bei der Vorauswahl des online übermittelten Videomaterials ( Qualifikationsrunde) als auch bei dem öffentlich zugänglichen Halbfinale und Finale werden die Ensembles von der fachkundigen Jury bewertet. Den im Halbfinale ausgeschiedenen Ensembles wird eine Beratung durch Jurymitglieder angeboten. Im Finale konkurrieren maximal 4-5 Ensembles um verschiedene Geldpreise und ein bezahltes Konzertengagement.
Benachrichtigungen über die Qualifikation zum Halbfinale werden bis zum 1. Juni per email versendet.
Halbfinale (28. Juni ab 14 Uhr) und Finale ( 29. Juni 17 Uhr) finden als öffentliche Veranstaltungen im Rathausprunksaal Landshut statt.
Repertoire
Das Repertoire für den Internationalen ORLANDO-DI-LASSO-WETTBEWERB LANDSHUT 2025 soll Musik vom Mittelalter bis einschließlich Barock umfassen.
Ein dramaturgisch überzeugendes Konzept des eingereichten Programmes wird sehr begrüßt. Als Pflichtstücke müssen 2 Werke von Orlando di Lasso im Programm enthalten sein (je eines für das Halbfinale/Finale). Der komplette Wettbewerbsbeitrag für das Finale soll 20 - 25 Minuten dauern. Für den Wettbewerb steht ein Cembalo ( zwei-manualig 415/440 Hz) zur Verfügung . Eigene Tasteninstrumente können nach Absprache mitgebracht werden.
Originalversionen aber auch besetzungsabhängige Arrangements sind möglich. Wenn ein Arrangement oder eine Alternativversion gespielt wird, muss dies einschließlich des Namens des Arrangeurs auf dem Antragsformular angegeben werden.
Als Zusatzaufgabe muss ein Popsong aus der beigefügten Liste ausgewählt und so transformiert werden, dass es ein Werk der Alten Musik sein könnte.
Besetzung
Kammermusikbesetzung ab 2 bis 8 Personen ( entweder rein vokal, rein instrumental oder gemischt). Auch Wechsel zwischen verschiedenen Instrumenten/Stimme sind erlaubt.
Ein einzelner Musiker darf in maximal zwei Ensembles mitwirken. Die Teilnehmer sollten nach Möglichkeit Originalinstrumente oder gute Nachbauten verwenden.
Modernere Instrumente sind aber kein Ausschlusskriterium, vielmehr ist das historisch informierte Spiel entscheidend.
Höchstalter der einzelnen Ensemblemitglieder: 35 Jahre
Preise
- Erster Preis : Konzertengagement bei den darauffolgenden Landshuter Hofmusiktagen 2026 in Höhe von 5000,-€. (zusätzlich werden dem Gewinnerensemble die Fahrtkosten und Übernachtung anlässlich des Wettbewerbs erstattet).
- Zweiter Preis : 3.000,- €
- Dritter Preis : 2.000,- €
- Publikumspreis: 1.000,- €
Jury
Die Jury besteht aus mindestens fünf Personen mit unterschiedlichem musikalischen, musikwissenschaftlichen und instrumentalen Hintergrund. Das Ergebnis des Finales wird vom Vorsitz des ORLANDO-DI-LASSO-WETTBEWERBS LANDSHUT bekannt gegeben. Die Entscheidung der Jury ist endgültig. Der Rechtsweg ist ausgeschlossen. Die Jury behält sich das Recht vor, einen oder mehrere Preise nicht zu vergeben, oder einen Preis aufzuteilen.
Anmeldung
Die Anmeldung zum Internationalen ORLANDO-DI-LASSO-WETTBEWERB 2025
ist ab sofort möglich.
Anmeldeschluss: 18. Mai 2025
Bitte senden sie eine E-mail mit dem Betreff „Orlando-di-Lasso-Wettbewerb Landshut" an office@landshuter-hofmusiktage.de mit folgenden Anhängen:
- Scan des ausgefüllten Formulars von der Homepage, alternativ Registrierung auf dem Online-Formular.
- Kurzvita/Beschreibung des Ensembles ( max 500 Zeichen)
- ein Foto des Ensembles mit einer Mindestgröße von 300 DPI bei 10x10 cm . Das Foto sollte alle Mitglieder des Ensembles zeigen.
- Link zu einer Aufnahme des Ensembles mit einer Mindestlänge von 10 - max. 20 Minuten Minuten . Die Aufnahme sollte aus Musik Ihrer Wahl aus dem oben genannten Zeitraum bestehen. Die Aufnahmen können in Form eines Videos über Online Speicher wie Dropbox, We Transfer o.ä. oder YouTube eingereicht werden. Die Werke dieses Videos müssen nicht identisch sein mit dem Programm der Finalrunde.
- bei der Anmeldung sind Programmvorschläge für die Halbfinal- und Finalrunden vorzulegen. Diese Programme sollten auf dem Anmeldeformular eingetragen werden, wobei der Komponist mit vollständigem Namen und Lebenszeit, der Titel des Stücks mit Namen aller Sätze und deren genaue Länge und Bezeichnung deutlich zu vermerken sind. Programmvorschläge für das Halbfinale und das Finale sollten jeweils eine Länge von 20-25 Minuten haben. Die Jury trifft eine Auswahl aus den Programmvorschlägen, die im Halbfinale und im Finale zu spielen sind und kürzt gegebenenfalls das Programm.
- Anmeldeschluss ist der 18. Mai 2025. Die teilnehmenden Ensembles werden bis zum 1. Juni 2025 entsprechend benachrichtigt.
- Zeitgleich mit der Anmeldung überweisen Sie bitte die Anmeldegebühr von € 50,00 (netto, exkl. Bankgebühren) auf folgendes Bankkonto:

TERMS OF PARTICIPATION
Sequence
The competition consists of three parts: Qualifying round - Semi-final round - Final round (including award ceremony)
Registration deadline: May 18, 2025
The ensembles are evaluated by the expert jury both in the pre-selection of the video material transmitted online (qualification round) and in the publicly accessible semi-finals and finals. The ensembles eliminated in the semi-finals will be offered advice from jury members. In the final, a maximum of 4-5 ensembles compete for various cash prizes and a paid concert engagement.
Notifications of qualification for the semi-finals will be sent by email by June 1st.
The semi-finals (June 28th from 2 p.m.) and finals (June 29th 5 p.m.) will take place as public events in the „Rathausprunksaal“ Landshut .
Repertoire
The repertoire for the International ORLANDO DI LASSO COMPETITION LANDSHUT 2025 should include music from the Middle Ages to the Baroque.
A dramaturgically convincing concept of the submitted program is very welcome. Two works by Orlando di Lasso must be included in the program as compulsory pieces (one each for the semi-final/final). The complete competition entry for the final should last 20 - 25 minutes. A harpsichord (two-manual 415/440 Hz) is available for the competition. You can bring your own keyboard instruments by arrangement.
Original versions but also arrangements depending on the cast are possible. If an arrangement or alternative version is played, this must be stated on the application form, including the name of the arranger.
As an additional task, a pop song must be selected from the attached list and transformed so that it could be a work of early music.
Occupation/line up
Chamber music ensemble from 2 to 8 people (either purely vocal, purely instrumental or mixed). Switching between different instruments/voices is also permitted.
A single musician may participate in a maximum of two ensembles. Participants should use original instruments or good replicas if possible.
However, more modern instruments are not an exclusion criterion; rather, historically informed playing is crucial.
Maximum age of individual ensemble members: 35 years
Prices
First prize: concert engagement at the subsequent Landshuter Hofmusiktage 2026 in the amount of €5,000. (In addition, the winning ensemble will be reimbursed for travel costs and overnight accommodation during the competition).
Second prize: €3,000
Third prize: €2,000
Audience Prize: €1,000
Jury
The jury consists of at least five people with different musical, musicological and instrumental backgrounds. The result of the final will be announced by the chair of the ORLANDO DI LASSO COMPETITION LANDSHUT. The jury's decision is final. Legal recourse is excluded. The jury reserves the right not to award one or more prizes or to split a prize.

is possible now.
Registration deadline: May 18, 2025
Please send an email with the subject “Orlando di Lasso Competition Landshut” to office@landshuter-hofmusiktage.de with the following attachments:
- Scan the completed form from the homepage, or use the online form for registration.
- Short CV/description of the ensemble (max 500 characters)
- a photo of the ensemble with a minimum size of 300 DPI at 10x10 cm. The photo should show all members of the ensemble.
- Link to a recording of the ensemble with a minimum length of 10 - maximum 20 minutes. The recording should consist of music of your choice from the period mentioned above. The recordings can be submitted in the form of a video via online storage such as Dropbox, We Transfer or similar or YouTube. The works in this video do not have to be identical to the program for the final round.
- When registering, program suggestions for the semi-final and final rounds must be submitted. These programs should be entered on the registration form, clearly stating the composer's full name and lifetime, the title of the piece with the name of all movements and their exact length and name. Proposed programs for the semi-finals and the final should each be 20-25 minutes long. The jury makes a selection from the program suggestions to be played in the semi-finals and finals and shortens the program if necessary.
- The registration deadline is May 18, 2025. Participating ensembles will be notified accordingly by June 1, 2025.
